What it Means to Be A Grateful One

What does it mean to be Grateful?  It simply means to take frequent and intentional moments to look at and appreciate the beauty that is in our lives and of the Life that is all around us.

We are Grateful Ones MC! A Motorcycle Club founded by men of character and dedication with a resolve to expand our Brotherhood and faith through service and Riding AMERICAN MADE MOTORCYCLES (Harley Davidsons to be specific).

It sounds too simple, but the Truth is that gratitude is heralded by all ancient religions and spiritual ‘gurus’ as being one of the most decisive dynamics in our joy experience throughout our lives.  In Christian Scripture, The Apostle Paul, who was thrown into every life transition possible at one time, said that it is precisely when we have troubles that it is most important to show gratitude, for that act is what produces perseverance in us, which strengthens our character and ultimately leads to hope.   And isn't Hope what we all crave the most? Grateful Ones MC is a Motorcycle Club based on just that: Gratitude!

Being grateful doesn't deny that there is pain. It doesn't ignore that we have confusion. It doesn't negate all fear. It doesn't cover up that we are sometime stressed and always imperfect. It's not meant to "guilt" people into trying to pretend happiness. It doesn't fix everything and give us the perfect life.  But it does give us strength, and hope, and the ability to keep moving forward.  And as we step into the chaos of family, events, memories, expectations, relationships and decisions in every season of our lives we recognize that we could use a little more strength, a little more joy,  a little more peace, a little more hope. It is our mission to live that gratitude out in our everyday lives, on our motorcycles in a community of exclusive membership that is transparent and contagious to our families, friends and those who would attempt to be our adversaries.  We seek only peaceful existence in a jacked up world of government corruption.

·         We will promote peace and acceptance where it has been otherwise elusive.

·         We will promote involvement in the civic processes of being FREE American Citizens where apathy has been allowed to divide our great Nation, State and planet. We will associate with whomever we please and wear our colors with the pride and dedication they deserve and have been earned by each club member.  We reach into communities and serve those that are in need while receiving blessings in return in the form of increased knowledge and awareness of cultural and social diversity as well as things we have in common.

·         We will stand together in the strength of Brotherhood seeking solutions to problems our community of Motorcycle Riders face.  We will seek change in existing law when it is unjust and promote rules and laws that allow us to live and ride as free Americans.

·         We represent the character of moral and faithful men who know how hard life is for those who have yet to find The Source of Gratitude in their lives while seeking opportunities to share our charity with the world.

Our bond is shared gratitude. Our mission is charity. We will share those gifts with everyone and everywhere in both easy and in hard times.  Isolation and loneliness are lies that will not exist in our club. We have all entered willingly into a bond as the Grateful Ones recognizing that we each have unique and valuable skills that will benefit each other and those around us.
